Terms and conditions The terms and conditions indicated herein are those indicated during the pre-departure meeting and on the technical file. The cost of all trips includes: - Ground transport - National flights - Accommodations and meals - Guide - Admission to sites Not included: - Airfare - Airport taxes - Drinks - Miscellaneous personal expenses Accommodations, meals and services The quality of the accommodations, ground transport, meals and other services varies from country to country and is often inferior to North-American standards. Flights and Carriers All modes of transport will be in coach class. The name of the carrier will appear on the ticket, whose restrictions are subject to government regulations. Tickets are non-transferrable and non-negotiable. For air transport, passengers must present themselves at the airline counter at least two hours before the departure time. The liability of all air carriers is limited. The travel agent is not liable for any damages caused by delays, loss of personal items, changes in schedule or itinerary made by the carrier, or any other event related to air, ground or marine transport. Cost of packages All prices are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change, depending on the exchange rate, an increase in the price of a service used by the travel agent, or the devaluation of the Canadian dollar. Cancellation fees Packages are fully refundable if cancelled within 45 days of the departure date, minus a $50 cancellation fee to cover administrative costs. For cancellations made within less than 45 days, 25% of the total package price is reimbursable. Cancellation fees apply for all cancellations, regardless of the reason, including fear of political strife, acts of terrorism, natural disasters or personal reasons. Early return Regardless of the reasons for an early return (illness, personal decision, etc.), the non-completed portion of the trip is non-reimbursable, notwithstanding the reimbursable portion of any air or rail transport. Insurance Cancellation/interruption or additional insurance purchased at the time of booking allows travellers to be reimbursed for a trip cancellation or early return due to reasons beyond their control (death in the family, illness, accident, etc.). We also recommend that travellers obtain coverage for all risks such as accidents, illnesses, material damages, loss of luggage, flight cancellations, etc., for which the travel agent cannot be held liable. Your travel agent representative will provide you with all insurance-related information. Liability The travel agent is neither a carrier, hotelier or innkeeper. Such services are provided by independent companies over which we have no control. The travel agent assumes no liability for any facts, actions or omissions on the part of service companies or any other parties over which it has no direct and immediate control. The travel agent assumes no liability with respect to all transport services, including trains, buses, planes, boats, or any other modes of transport that could be used during the trip, or in part, in the fulfilment of its obligations to passengers, nor will it be held responsible for any actions, omissions, errors or unforeseen events, nor any losses, damages or delays arising from the negligence of a transport company or the malfunction of a mode of a transport. The travel agent is not liable for the negligence of a hotel owner or its staff. The travel agent is not liable for any damages suffered by a traveller following an illness, death, injuries due to any cause whatsoever, including tropical illness, food poisoning, accident during transport, loss, inconvenience or anxiety. The travel agent further assumes no liability with respect to any damage arising from a government action, political strife, earthquake, flood, or unusual event. Itineraries, camping sites, accommodations and modes of transport are subject to changes or substitutions, such changes and substitutions being final and without recourse.
